MITOSURE® SCORE
MitoSure® provides an estimate of the amount of mitochondrial DNA present in an embryo relative to nuclear DNA. An abnormally high MitoSure® score (above 2) may be indicative of developmental delay. When selecting viable embryos for implantation, MitoSure® may be of use as a novel biomarker for the deselection of unfit embryos.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR RESULTS
Your results are available through our online portal, Revela®. The test is performed simultaneously with Previda®. The role of mitochondrial content in IVF is an ongoing research field. Your physician will review the results and may consider your MitoSure® Score as additional information to help identify promising embryos for transfer.
